2022 Virtual Conference

The Archives Association of Ontario is pleased to announce that the 2022 Annual Conference will be held on May 25 to 27 virtually.

Theme: These Are Unprecedented Times: How Archives and Archivists Changed, Struggled and Thrived Through Challenging Periods

How often have we heard the phrase, “these are unprecedented times” over the past couple of years? Regardless of the era, archives and archivists need to adapt and respond professionally and resourcefully in times of disruption and change.

Although initially intended to be an in-person event at Brock University in St. Catharines, the 2022 Archives Association of Ontario Annual Conference will be held virtually. While we sincerely wished for a return to a conventional conference setting, the AAO Board and the conference committee is prioritizing everyone’s health and safety.
