Southwestern Ontario Chapter (SWOC)

Save the Date!

All Chapter and AAO members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Southwestern Ontario Chapter of the AAO on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 10 a.m, at the Huron County Museum in Goderich. After the meeting, we will have the opportunity for a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum and archives, as well as a guided tour of the Huron County Historic Gaol, a National Historic Site of Canada. Lunch will be provided, and the day will end around 2 p.m.

The Southwestern Ontario Chapter (SWOC) is composed of archivists, librarians, records managers and other professionals who are dedicated to promoting, preserving and providing public access to the documentary heritage of Southwestern Ontario. SWOC strives to provide professional development opportunities, including workshops and lectures, and social events, such as tours, for professionals in the area to connect, collaborate and strengthen the archival community in Southwestern Ontario.
